WikiProject Tampa was started on November 18, 2006 to coordinate work on articles related to Tampa, Florida in the English Wikipedia.

This WikiProject aims to coordinate improvment efforts on articles related to Tampa, Florida and the surrounding area. It is also an aim of this project to bring the Tampa city article up to Featured Article status, in part by bringing it up to the standards defined by WikiProject Cities.

Here are some open WikiProject Tampa tasks:
- Turn Tampa into a featured article
