[edit] People

  • Julie Ainscough (mother of Vox Humana 8') who is a noted local music teacher (two of her organ pupils - both from Hampton School - having been awarded Oxford organ scholarships). One useful reference is her website. She is currently studying for a PhD in Composition under the supervision of Sebastian Forbes.
  • Iain McKillop, a noted Christian artist who lives in Byfleet and worships at Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Ewell - his website is hometown.aol.co.uk/imckillopi/myhomepage/photo.html. The reason I haven't linked that directly is because the domain it's based on is currently blacklisted, so you'll need either to drag-and-drop or copy-and-paste it into your browser's location bar.
  • Anyone else notable who isn't already on WP.

[edit] Collaboration

The current Surrey Collaboration of the month is
"Church of St. Mary & St. Nicholas, Leatherhead".

To nominate or vote for an article visit the collaboration page.

The Surrey Collaboration of the Month is a collaborative effort to improve Surrey-related articles, in order to help them reach featured-article standards. Anyone, no matter what their level of knowledge about Surrey, is welcome to lend a hand. Each week, an article is chosen by people interested in the topic, and for as long as is necessary the chosen article is worked on, under Wikipedia's principle of collaborative editing. This provides a single article for people to concentrate their efforts on collaboratively.
