Title
WikiProject Rocketry
Scope
This WikiProject aims primarily to provide information on the information that should be included in articles about all types of rocket, and other aspects of rocketry, for example, launch sites. Although it is impossible to have complete standardisation across ever single type of rocket that had ever been designed, this project aims to make sure that a user of Wikipedia can guarantee to see roughly the same thing across the board.

Naming conventions
Follow Wikipedia's policy of 'most common name' as the article title. For a few rockets, who are well-known by their nicknames alone, the military designation (if any) should be omitted. The title for this group should be [[NICKNAME/PROGRAME NAME (DISAMBIGUATOR)]]. Use either 'missile' or 'rocket' as the disambiguator; others may be used if necessary. Examples of this group:
For a program with many important design stages, such as the Titan program, the main article should be [[PROGRAME NAME program]] or [[PROGRAME NAME missile program]] for military rockets and [[PROGRAM NAME (rocket family)]] for non-military rockets. Example: Titan (rocket family), with separate articles for the Titan I, II, III, and IV.
For more obscure rockets—those that are not widely recognised by their nicknames alone—or for those normally known by their military designation, such as the AIM-9 Sidewinder and AIM-120 AMRAAM, their military designation and nickname should be used. If no nickname is available, the manufacturer name should be included in the title. Examples:
