The result of the debate was support. --TMF Let's Go Mets - Stats 00:29, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

  • New York State Route 52 has a great deal of illustration, an incredibly detailed route description and full-fledged miscellanea and history sections. Quite possibly the best article that WP:NYSR has. --TMF Let's Go Mets - Stats 01:40, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
Support: While not as picturesque as NY 55, the written detail on this article is superb. I support both articles, but my favor, at least this time, goes to NY 52 because it contains Miscellania and History. Perhaps more is known about NY 52 right now. I wish more pictures could be added. Fwgoebel 04:18, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
As the writer in question, thank you very much.
As for pictures, I do have one I've been meaning to add of that sort-of parkway in the east side of Walden. Over time, perhaps in springtime, I should take and add one of Lake Carmel. Daniel Case 09:51, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

The result of the debate was support NY 104. The tie between NY 17K and NY 104 was broken by the comments that accompanied the votes, and the NY 104 argument appeared to be more convincing. As I have been a major contributor to the NY 104 article, this selection may appear to be a tad bureaucratic. I invite discussion on this issue either on my talk page or on the talk page of this page. --TMF Let's Go Mets - Stats 06:26, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

  • New York State Route 55 - Though not on the same level as NY 52 (yet), NY 55 has even more imagery and a description cut from the same cloth as NY 55. Even without a history section, it is one of the best articles this project has produced. --TMF Let's Go Mets - Stats 01:40, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
Comment: The pictures do tell quite a bit about NY 55 and its lore, and standing by itself I would support it. Compared to NY 52, however, as aforementioned, I'll pass on this one for now, but NY 55 is still something for which other articles should strive.Fwgoebel 04:18, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
Again, thank you very much. Daniel Case 09:52, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
  • New York State Route 17K - Fairly well-written route description and has many qualities that previous featured articles have had. --TMF Let's Go Mets - Stats 05:22, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
    • Support. The presence of a history section, albeit brief, gives this article a slight edge over NY 55, which has none. --TMF Let's Go Mets - Stats 15:34, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
  • New York State Route 104 - A noticeable lack of images and a so-so description, but the article contains a well-written history section detailing the road's history as US 104. --TMF Let's Go Mets - Stats 05:22, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
    • Support. The history section has multiple parts, representing changes in actual stages, plus the presence of the old US 104 shield is a good touch. Photos are otherwise not present, but this article does have a map, which in my opinion is a bit more of an effort to create than a photo. Route description is broken down by county; how it should be separated (if at all) must be considered on an article by article basis. Fwgoebel 16:50, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

  • New York State Route 17K - relisting from January.
    • Support per my arguments from January. --TMF Let's Go Mets - Stats 06:30, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
    • Support In part to break the apparent "tie" (because to carry forward my remarks about NY 55 - which I will support - would further stretch a tie). While a vote should be based on content and appearance, NY 17K has had multiple users contributing over time - commenced by one user, and pretty much "taken over" by another, illustrating the partnership that a Wiki would endear. Fwgoebel 04:47, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
    • Support; it's yet another one I've done a lot of work on. Daniel Case 05:10, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
  • New York State Route 31 - relisting from January.
    • Support same comments from January. --J-AyeB(c)82 23:52, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

  • New York State Route 15 - no images, but has a map, some history, and a decent description.
  • New York State Route 31 - relisting from February.
  • New York State Route 55 - relisting from February.
    • Support. Best article currently out there that hasn't been recognized as a NYSR FA. --TMF Let's Go Mets - Stats 21:26, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
    • Support per my remarks back in December, 2006. Fwgoebel 22:28, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
    • Support. Decent imagery, despite the lack of a map, although NY 15 has a better Communities chart. ---- DanTD 12:23, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
