WikiProject New Orleans was started on October 14, 2006 to improve the quality and organization of articles related to New Orleans and the Greater New Orleans area.

Scope
This WikiProject aims primarily to coordinate, organize, and develop all Wikipedia activities concerning New Orleans and the surrounding parishes.
