Welcome to WikiProject Moral Philosophy (WPMP), a subproject of WikiProject Philosophy.

[edit] Scope and Goals
The current focus of WPMP is to create a representative presence of philosophy of ethics on Wikipedia. Many splinter articles on this subject are poorly written and factually inaccurate, and misrepresent some of the most important works in the history of philosophy. Since works in moral philosophy are some of the most dense and difficult to understand, but also perhaps the most important to human society, a coordinated effort to expand and improve Wikipedia's articles on this subject is needed.
Since we are a derivative of WikiProject Philosophy, our goals are very similar and are as follows:
- To serve as a nexus and discussion area for contributors with knowledge in philosophy of ethics.
- To identify those areas of ethics which lack sufficient coverage on Wikipedia
- To improve those articles which need help.
- To create a general map of the ethics articles and subjects on Wikipedia and link the articles together accordingly.
[edit] Current Priorities
- Getting more people!
- Identify and catalogue all moral philosophy articles that are in need of work by placing {{moral}} atop the talk-pages of articles related to moral philosophy. Note: this will automatically list the corresponding article in Category:Ethics
