Hello WikiProject Massively multiplayer online games/RuneScape/templates/Fancruftguide-user, and thank you for your contributions to [[:{{{1}}}]], part of the RuneScape series. Whilst your edits are greatly appreciated, they have had to be changed, as they went into too much detail about the subject! Such a level of detail, that requires that a reader be a player of RuneScape, is outside of Wikipedia's mandate and is often called "Fancruft" by other editors. Some articles, some in the RuneScape series, some not, have even been deleted on the grounds of containing too much Fancruft.

Usage: {{subst:Portal:RuneScape/Fancruftguide-user|name of article|~~~~}} or shortcut: {{subst:rsfancruft-user|name of article|~~~~}}. Do not sign outside the template, as your signature is already the second parameter, and doing so would make your signature appear twice. Place on the user talk pages of editors who write too detailed information about RuneScape, which may fall into the definition of Fancruft. The intention, like that of Portal:RuneScape/Fancruftguide, is to let editors know what they should and should not write.
