Welcome to the Articles Needing Attention department of WikiProject Louisville!
A continuous goal of WikiProject Louisville is to improve sub-articles referenced in the Louisville city article as well as any article related to the subject of Louisville. This department aims to help members identify specific improvements that are needed in various articles and communicate them to other project members and Wikipedians in general using Wikipedia techniques and tools.

There are several ways to indicate that articles need some kind of attention:
- Stub
- If the article is a stub, add {{Louisville-stub}} to the article, and specify class=Stub in the WikiProject Louisville template on the article's talk page, like this: {{WikiProject Louisville|class=Stub}}. This will place the article in Category:Louisville stubs as well as Category:Stub-Class Louisville articles.
- Immediate attention needed
- On the article's talk page, specify attention=yes in the WikiProject Louisville template, like this: {{WikiProject Louisville|...|attention=yes|...}}. This will add the article to Category:Louisville articles needing attention. Be sure to write in the comments why the article needs immediate attention. Common reasons to use this would be when the article needs significant cleanup or references.
- Infobox(es) needed
- On the article's talk page, specify needs-infobox=yes in the WikiProject Louisville template, like this: {{WikiProject Louisville|...|needs-infobox=yes|...}}. This will add the article to Category:Louisville articles needing infoboxes.
- Merge action needed
- On the article's talk page, specify merge=yes in the WikiProject Louisville template, like this: {{WikiProject Louisville|...|merge=yes|...}}. This will add the article to Category:Louisville articles needing merge action. Be sure to write in the comments why the article needs to be merged.
- To do list
- To create a todo list for an article, add {{Todo-Louisville}} to the article's talk page. This will create the todo list and also add the article to Category:Louisville articles with todo lists.
- Photo(s) needed
- Add {{Reqphotoin|Louisville}} to the article's talk page. This will add the article to Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Louisville.
- Map(s) needed
- Add {{Reqmapin|Louisville}} to the article's talk page. This will add the article to Category:Wikipedia requested maps in Louisville.
