[edit] Requests for copy-editing assistance

Place new requests at the bottom of this section. Explain the nature of the help needed; use the talk page if it can't be expressed in less than a few sentences.

  1. Murree I'm not familiar enough with the subject matter and there's only so far someone like me could go, maybe some other folks have a better angle on it. --BrokenSphere 04:18, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
  2. Reign in Blood On a CD not very long, was hoping someone could look at the lead, and the whole thing if time permits M3tal H3ad 09:29, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
    • I copyedited the lead to turn it into something, I think, is unexceptionable; though my judgement might be impaired by fatigue. I might look at it again tomorrow. Rintrah 16:21, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
  3. Michael Jordan Recently promoted to GA status, I am trying to help get this promoted to FA and before I submit it for peer review I figured I'd try to get an outsider to copyedit it. Quadzilla99 15:27, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
    • Note this was on the waiting list but has been moved here. This is currently an FAC and there are numerous complaints about the prose, please help. Quadzilla99 18:37, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
      • I'm moving this back over here (from the FAC section), as the FAC is over (it passed) but I figure a full pass through from this Projects still couldn't hurt. Quadzilla99 02:29, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
  4. Jeff Hanneman Not very long, lead, style and influence, and personal life sections need some attention, Thanks. M3tal H3ad 08:10, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
    • I did a once-over and fixed some grammar issues, but greater attention to word-choice and sentence structure might be required. The article relies heavily on quotations, which I didn't pull up... -- Scientizzle 22:52, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
  5. Activism at Ohio Wesleyan University I would like to get some help to improve the grammar and prose of the article. LaSaltarella 05:10, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
  6. Kammerlader, Krag-Petersson, Jarmann M1884 and Krag-Jørgensen; all written mostly by myself, and would probaly benefit if someone with a better grasp of English than myself. Thanks! WegianWarrior 20:45, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
  7. Ayyavazhi a long article needs a copy-edit. I also individually requested some users from this project. Please someone help and copy edit it. - Д=|Θ|=Д Paul| 19:16, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
    • Duplicate entry: Very long and extremely well-referenced article written by a non-native English speaker and requiring substantial copyediting. Badbilltucker 17:32, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
  8. Leonard Orban, European Commissioner for Multilingualism. - I have written the article almost by myself and I am not a native speaker of English. --Michkalas 22:26, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
  9. Cúcuta: It is a great article, but my english grammar is not good. Could you please help me? --Ricardocolombia 22:20, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
  10. Derby Lunatic Fringe I'm not sure how to approach this article about football hooligans. It might be a fun read, though, if you enjoy reading about the flower of England's imbeciles. Rintrah 20:08, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
  11. Polish cochineal - article written by a non-native English speaker. Copy-edit has been recommended during peer review. Kpalion 19:28, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
  12. Cooch Behar- I am trying to get this article to a standard level to atleast GA, specially with grammar, spellings, POV, etc. Amartyabag TALK2ME 11:57, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
  13. Delhi gained featured status last week, but the prose is far from satisfactory. Requesting a copyedit, so that I use the content to feature New Delhi. Regards, =Nichalp «Talk»= 10:59, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
  14. Gwoyeu Romatzyh (mentioned more fully here). For aficionados of Chinese, linguistics & writing systems: a fresh pair of eyes would be most useful. --NigelG (or Ndsg) | Talk 11:27, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
  15. Queen (band) (former good article) - I have been referred here by a peer reviewer who said "the tone [of the article] sometimes reads a bit unencyclopaedic." Any help would be great.— miketm - Queen WikiProject - 02:07, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
  16. Persian literature: the section on "contemporary persian literature" needs copyeditting. This section has been added after the article was promoted to GA status. The contemporary section has a lower quality than the rest of the article. Obviously the article is very important part of world literature and particularly Asian literature. Many thanks. Sangak 16:02, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
    • I plan on helping out with the CE of that section.--RedPen 15:52, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
      • I suspect my question about the usage of Persian vs. Iranian applies to this article as well. (See "Science and technology in Iran", below) Galena11 19:35, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
        • According to Sangak, Persian is the language used in the literature, and should always be referred to as such. In context as a nation, all references to the country prior to 1935 should be "Persia", 1935 and after should be "Iran". Galena11 19:48, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
  17. Henri Toivonen — The article is entirely written by a non-native English speaker. As the peer review went through without non-bot suggestions, I have no idea how bad the prose is. I'm hoping to see this promoted to at least GA. Prolog 14:15, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
  18. Science and technology in Iran: I have built up this article from scratch over the last two years. It is now very comprehensive. However it needs copyediting for neutrality, style and also grammar. Any helps will be very much appreciated. Thanks. Sangak 16:49, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
    • Started c/e, but need clarification about the use of Persia/n vs. Iran/ian before continuing(see article talk page). Galena11 19:32, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
  19. Bart King: (From Talk Page): Greetings! I'm trying to get this article up to FA status. The main problem right now is that the prose is not quite up to snuff. Is there anyone in the league that can help copyedit this article to make the prose more compelling/brilliant? Thanks so much for any help you can give.--Eva bd 22:33, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
    • i'll take a look at it, sure thing. Although FA status is usually a matter of content and organization, and less of copy edits. BUt regardless, I'll help out.--rocketrye12 talk/contribs 18:54, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
  20. Oklahoma City bombing: (Copied from talk page) I would like to request that a member or two here please review the article. It is currently in GAC and I just want somebody to look through some of my sentence structure, grammar, and the lead section. I believe the lead intro section could use some work (I put details out of order as it is in the article, don't know if that is acceptable). Even if you tell me how to fix any mistakes, that would be fine. If anyone here would be able to assist, I'd appreciate it greatly. --Nehrams2020 09:02, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
    Taking a look. Otheus 12:51, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
Not too many technical problems, but overall, the lead is too big and filled with detail. I've cut it down a bit. I believe the order of the lead is the most important order; the organization of the article should generally follow it, but definitely not the other way around. (IMNSHO) --Otheus 13:18, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
Re-worked the lead and first two sections. Otheus 14:23, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
  21. Armenian Revolutionary Federation: I and another editor have built up this article from scratch over the last few months. It is now very well researched and cited and i'm thinking of nominating it for FA in the near future. However, since I am not a native speaker of English, I believe it needs help on copyediting for grammar and possibly neutrality. Any help will be very much appreciated. Thanks. - Fedayee 22:36, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
I've been waiting for awhile now, could I PLEASE get some help here so I could nominate it for FA? My time on Wikipedia may be cut short due to an Arbitration so please talented copyeditors...some assistance. - Fedayee 22:28, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
  22. Anaximander: Since I helped a lot in writing the French article (a featured article), I thought I'd give a hand with its English counterpart. I think my English is fine, however I need someone to check the article for syntax, grammar, style conventions, or any typo that might have remained. (Didyaknow, after 2 zillions hours spent on a page, it totally disappears???) Any help in providing secondary references is also welcome. Thanks. — Robin des Bois ♘ 06:25, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
    • I took a look at the first half and made a few tweaks. Your English is great. Psp 21:56, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
  23. British anti-invasion preparations of World War II I've done a minor copyedit and some FAC editing myself, and the only criterion I would say this doesn't cover is the compelling prose - Gaius Cornelius has created and improved the article massively - its broad, v. referenced, and compliant with the WP:MOS. There are plans for it to be placed on FAC (hopefully shortly). Thanks, RHB Talk - Edits 23:24, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
  24. Dreamgirls (film) - is a current GA. They made a request for a peer review before they submit it as a FAC, and a suggestion was made that the article be copyedited. It's quite long. Tohru Honda13 01:20, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
I'll help as soon as I can. Cheers! Tohru Honda13 23:39, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
  25. Empire Earth: The Art of Conquest: This is in a peer review right now, with the intention of soon going for GA Update: Reached GA, but could still use some proofreading. It could use some spiffing up of the prose, since I've essentially done this one my own, and no expansion pack has ever reached GA before.--Clyde (talk) 00:00, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
  26. Eugenio Espejo: This article is currently on peer review, with the intent of changing its status from B-class article to Good Article. It has lots of grammar mistakes. Any comments about it are welcome. Dalobuca 01:20, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
  27. Sino-Vietnamese War an important topic to have a copy-edit tag, hopefully you guys can take a look. Will need prose check more than spelling. SGGH 16:44, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
  28. Chana School, on its way to GAC after this, needs outside eyes to help it out. Just had a peer review, I have seen the article too much to give it the effective once or twice over. Sorry to bombard with two requests at once, I just have a lot on my plate right now. : ) IvoShandor 07:55, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
  29. Lethbridge Collegiate Institute: currently a GA; since I wrote nearly the entire article, it's sometimes hard to spot my errors in writing. Still looking for hard references for a possible future FAC nomination. PhoenixTwo 19:44, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
  30. Crusaders is currently GA, has been through peer-review. Is very close to being ready for FAC, just needs a copy-edit. - Shudda talk 10:32, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
    • Has been submitted for FAC, discussion can be viewed here. Only major objection at moment involves copy-edit. I have hence moved it from the above list to this one. - Shudda talk 02:37, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
    • First pass complete (text only), despite knowing nothing of rugby and relatively little of NZ. Will try to take a fresh second look in a day or so. Comment on Talk re: idioms; did not address questions on Talk re: defining sport-specific terms. Unimaginative Username 03:05, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
  31. Technopark, Kerala: Promising candidate, but it seems like every time I look at it, I keep finding little issues that prevent me from supporting it. There's probably even more that I just don't see. FAC nom here Circeus 17:42, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
    • Note that this article is now featured. Happy copyediting, S.D. 21:28, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
  32. Kulintang: Suggestion from other editors that this only needs a good copyedit from independent editors before final push to FA. A check on prose is required and a look see if WP:MOS are ok. Thanks FAC nom here PhilipDM 08:00, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
  33. Fritz the Cat (film): I would like to submit this as a featured article candidate. Please take a look at it, and work on the copyediting. If anyone has any specific questions or comments about the article as it is, feel free to bring them up on the talk page, and we'll discuss it. (Ibaranoff24 22:36, 24 March 2007 (UTC))
  34. Shareef Abdur-Rahim: recently turned GA, just want to ensure everything is tight enough to sustain the GA status, thanks. Chensiyuan 22:53, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
  35. Johann Pachelbel According to a peer review, this article has "A lot of the prepositions and prepositional phrases in the article are not quite right. There are also missing articles and a few awkwardly placed clauses." SkipperClipper 00:51, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Requests for FAC and FAR

Articles should be thoroughly copyedited before being nominated at WP:FAC. If a nomination has progressed to the point that the only outstanding objection is copyedit issues, the article may be listed here. If an article placed at WP:FAR has improved to the point that its only outstanding issue is copyedit concerns, it may also be listed here.

  1. Tenacious D: This GA article needs some slight tweaks to become FA class. Tenacious D Fans (talk) 07:02, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
  2. Mayan languages: Currently in FAC and one reviewer suggested we should put a shout out to you guys, though there is also another outstanding issue (citation, particularly in the history section). See the nomination here, also in-progress review comments at Talk:Mayan languages/Comments. Thanks. --Homunq 00:55, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
    • League members: FAC/FAR articles with issues other than copyedit may change significantly. Feel free to copyedit if you wish, but as per the instructions above, we could justifiably wait until the citation issues are resolved. I've left Homunq a message to this effect and hopefully we'll be updated on its progress. Thanks! Galena11 20:06, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
    • Reply from the editors: If the FAC is any indication, I'm the only one who still has really serious gripes with the article, whether be it the organization of information in several sections (which I'm not sure I have the energy to rework myself) or the citing, so I'd really appreciate if someone could still give it a look. Circeus 20:51, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
  3. Halo 2: Going for FA, references, content are all sorted out, but there are issues with copyediting and after working on it for months I really can't do it anymore. Dåvid Fuchs (talk / frog blast the vent core!) 15:03, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
  4. Simeon I of Bulgaria: current WP:FAC which I'm absolutely determined to bring to FA status. Although my English is fairly good, I'd still appreciate a thorough copyedit by a native speaker, preferably someone who's got some knowledge of history. You know, there are some peculiarities that only a native speaker may be able to detect. Of course, multiple copyedits by several users would be more than appreciated! By the way, bear in mind that it's an European topic and this means it should use British English. Thanks in advance! TodorBozhinov 09:42, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
    • Note that this article is now featured. Happy copyediting, S.D. 10:55, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
  5. Love. Angel. Music. Baby.: At its FAC, several editors have stated that it needs to be looked over for POV, and one editor stated that it's "overridden with semicolon junctions and repetitions of initial adverbial phrases" and needs "greater sentence variation and syntactic easing". ShadowHalo 00:43, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
  6. Verbascum thapsus Suggested by reviewer that fresh eyes have a good look at it.Circeus 22:26, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
  7. Freak Out! Current featured article candidate in need of some copyediting work. Please take a look at the article and see what you can do. (Ibaranoff24 13:52, 27 March 2007 (UTC))
  8. History of Sheffield A reviewer at FAC has suggested that a copyedit by someone unfamiliar with the subject might help. Thanks in advance, JeremyA (talk) 18:50, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
  9. Holden VE Commodore It has been suggested on the article's FAC page that the article be copyedited by another member who is not accustomed with the subject. Regards OSX 09:44, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Backlog status

Please list new articles at the bottom of each section, using a # to number the articles. Remember to sign your entries with four tildes (~~~~). For detailed instructions on using the project templates, please visit the template section on the project page.

[edit] In progress

List articles here you have partially copyedited. Note how far they have been copyedited (e.g., up to Section X) and update as necessary. Consider placing the {{WP:LoCE:In Progress}} template on the article's discussion page. Move completed articles to Ready for final proofread.

  1. Bathinda: up to Climate (done intro). Rintrah 05:12, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
    • Up to History. Rintrah 15:30, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
      • Up to "Birth of modern Bathinda". After that is going to need some serious editing - the "for tourists" section needs tactful but comprehensive editing. Cricketgirl 22:28, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
  2. Birote is an article which seems to be in constant development that I had been trying to keep cleaned up but my personal circumstances make it difficult for me to stay on top of this. If someone else would like to pitch in, that would be great. --JAXHERE | Talk 13:49, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
    • (Moved article here)It appears as though the development flurry has stopped on this, and it definitely needs a copyedit. However, it is a very long article and probably should be tackled in chunks, so I moved it here. Galena11 14:37, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
  3. Kingdom of Laos Up to Government. Rintrah 15:48, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
    • Ran into trouble on this one. The article heavily relies on passive voice, obscuring important information. I can't find a way of expressing the sentences more clearly, for I don't know the missing information. I give up on this one. Rintrah 09:47, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
  4. Abbas Kiarostami Up to the 1980s. Rintrah 09:36, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
  5. Matvey Kazakov Up to Shadow of Bazhenov. "Neoclassical architect" sounds better to my ears than "Neoclassicist architect". Is this correct? BuddingJournalist 08:38, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
    • According to Merriam-Webster, neoclassical is only an adjective, while neoclassicist is a noun AND an adjective. So, either is correct in the example above, but only "the architect was a neoclassicist" would be correct. Galena11 22:08, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
  6. Hakeem Olajuwon I don't know if there is any real crisis here. I'm just trying to help improve this article. It's a GA and I want to help make it the best it can possibly be, so if someone can come along and improve it any way that would be great. Quadzilla99 02:23, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
    • very good work. I couldn't read it all, but the prose is very good. --Rocketrye12 01:30, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
      • The prose is OK, but it and the punctuation could use a little polishing. I got up to "Houston Rockets" Galena11 22:48, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
  7. List of references to Superman in popular music This one isn't marked for copy-editing explicitly, just cleanup. However, I think it could benefit from it anyways. The original article was just a mish-mash of random facts, and I've started to reorganize it into a proper, sorted list, but could use some help if anyone's interested. The items that I have not yet sorted are under the "Other references" heading, and the last one I did was the matchbox twenty item. –Dvandersluis 16:19, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
  8. Supreme Commander In desperate need of copyedit. So far, I've done the lead and the infobox. —Daniel Vandersluis(talk) 17:23, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ready for final proofread

List articles at the bottom of this section that have been copyedited and need a proofread. Place the following at the bottom of the article talk page as a new comment:
==Copyedit==
{{WP:LoCE
|{{subst:CURRENTMONTHNAME}} {{subst:CURRENTYEAR}}
|~~~~
}}

  1. 7 Seeds Did all I could. Lead needs a proof. Copy-editing isn't going to achieve much with the rest of this article, as it's incomplete and contains what looks to be machine translated text. Needs someone who knows the series to rewrite those sections. BuddingJournalist 09:06, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
    • I'm proceeding with a full copyedit - might as well make it feel as if it has better organization than what it has now. --Sigma 7 02:40, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
    • Done all I can. --Sigma 7 03:31, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
  2. Art of Fighting Gameplay section needs attention from a video-gamer. This article was probably the most incredible collection of run-on sentences I've ever encountered: "Released after the incredible success of Street Fighter II, which had by now become the blueprint for fighting games, a blueprint still basically adhered to today and one that Art Of Fighting 2 adhered to then, making it seem more what someone today would expect a fighting game to be like where a player chooses any character from the roster and can play through a simple arcade mode and fight a hidden/unplayable boss." BuddingJournalist 06:34, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
    • Great edit BuddingJournalist! I just made some minor grammatical corrections, but I think it needs another set of eyes to finish it up.Croberts1 04:44, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
  3. Marriage - could do with a copyedit, with focus especially on prose style, there are some very strange turns of phrase... Dev920 (Have a nice day!) 21:59, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
    • I added some comments about issues in the prose and I left the POV tag; check the talk page under "Assessments of article quality and progress" to see if the editors agree that it can be removed. Galena11 22:26, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
  4. Jericho, Kansas Not the biblical city. Up to The real Jericho Rintrah 15:20, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
    • Did my best to make lists into paragraphs and limit some of the exposition. Might be helpful, but not necessary, if someone familiar with the show did the proof.Galena11 17:32, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
  5. Ben Reilly Some tweaks to punctuation and grammar. Some discrepancies with use of tenses but not glaringly noticeable. Needs careful reading to discriminate between errors and clones but looks OK. Greenglen 19:19, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
    • Don't forget to sign! Rintrah 02:06, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
    • Yep, you're right Rintrah, I did forget to sign. Greenglen 19:19, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
  6. Captain Falcon I found it in the backlog. Since it was up to FA class, I found not many flaws except there is some colloqualism. Showmanship is the key 01:28, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
    • (Moved here from "Needing assistance" section): Still needs some work in grammar and prose - needs to be more like Link. FMF|contact 23:44, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
  7. Hitman 2: Silent Assassin Finally finished by redoing the Targets section as Missions (as per Hitman: Contracts). –Dvandersluis 22:07, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
  8. St John's wort#Botanical Description: Just this section was tagged, so its an easy one. Also, they are getting concensus on the spelling--I used the one that appeared to be the winner, but advised them that they will need to change the title and spelling throughout. Galena11 16:54, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
  9. Franz Liebkind: The fictional author of "the worst play ever written", Springtime for Hitler, in The Producers. Galena11 19:40, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
    • Have put in a few more links, but looks good to me! Cricketgirl 19:14, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
  10. Gérard Chaliand: An expert in armed-conflict studies. Short. Galena11 19:59, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
  11. Hedwig Kohn: Female Jewish physicist who fled Germany in WWII. Galena11 20:37, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
  12. Hither Green railway station: A train station in England. Galena11 21:31, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
  13. Howard E. Scott: Frontman for the band War. Galena11 21:42, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
  14. Huilliche language: An indigenous language of Chile. Galena11 21:48, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
  15. Mansehra District Pakistani district history and geography Hillbillygirl 10:58, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
    • I didn't see much that needed fixing. Made some minor adjustments and is now ready for proofreading. Galena11 22:30, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
  16. John Glines:Well-written, but may be slight POV concerns. Would appreciate a fresh pair of eyes. Dev920 (Have a nice day!) 13:37, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
    • These eyes didn't see any major POV issues. Galena11 22:47, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
  17. Colin McRae Rally is still B-class, but it no longer reads as an informal list of cheat codes and maps. Needs a proofreading because we all know I'm far from talented. If anybody can think of what to add to this article to bring it up to GA status, please let me know. Moralis 21:30, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
    • Good edit. I just made a few grammatical corrections.Croberts1 04:55, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
  18. Xinghua Campaign, Way too overlinked (for example communist was an internal link throughout the entire article). I did the best I could. Cremepuff222 (talk, sign book) 00:04, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
  19. Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille zur Macht: I could use some help copyediting this article. I'd like to get it to GA and eventually FA down the road. — Deckiller 22:30, 2 January 2007 (UTC) (Moved to proofread by Sigma 7 16:04, 11 March 2007 (UTC))
  20. Headhunting: Article was actually not that bad, save for the lead section. It is mostly devoid of any sources, though. —Daniel Vandersluis(talk) 17:16, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
    • The Celtic section needs more attention; otherwise, it is good gramatically. As Dvandersluis said, however, it needs work on sources! Croberts1 03:20, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
  21. Mozambican War of Independence FAC review, copy edit for prose, punctuation and sentence structure is the only main object remaining. An independent copyedit was suggested on the FAC review page, so I came to you! SGGH 09:00, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
I struck the object, since Zleitzen (a capable writer) went through it. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 13:59, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
  22. Ryan Leaf I'm planning to make this in FAC again, has copyediting issues from last FAC Jaranda wat's sup 03:31, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
Not too much to change; Pretty solid. -- Scientizzle 22:08, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
  23. Affiliated Senior High School of National Taiwan Normal University I've done what I can with this, but it does need a more experienced eye to be cast over it. Cricketgirl 21:27, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
  24. Korukonda Indian village, very short. Hillbillygirl 10:48, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

  27. Karol Scheibler's Chapel in Łódź Polish mausoleum and chapel. This was a heavy edit, for quirks from the Polish translation. It really needs another eye. Hillbillygirl 10:29, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
  28. Kitadake Japanese mountain. Hillbillygirl 11:09, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
  29. Lake Shikotsu Japanese lake. Hillbillygirl 11:42, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
  30. Albert Einstein Caution: there seems to be small community of heavily invested people living on and around this article. Between 2/28 and 3/13 I got the size way down and some kind of organization going, also checked and standardized the references that were there. The article was so active I couldn't tighten up the language very much - almost any change prompted a reversion or else sentences were added/moved around. It may help to tell them you're a physicist.~ Otterpops 14:22, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
  31. Dominican Republic General history / geography of the country. This one was rated B-class for quality, I think more for the content than style. I've done what I can as a copyeditor. Hillbillygirl 11:02, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
  32. Assassins (musical) Needs a little fleshing out but that will come in time, from people who love theater.~ Otterpops 18:16, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

  34. JLA/Avengers - Seems like a good article to me, but I'm looking for commments if it really needs proofreading to me. Showmanship is the key 00:09, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
  35. Rock Springs Massacre: Currently working on this article (all written by myself) in hopes for an eventual FA bid. Would benefit from an outside pair of eyes looking for grammar, prose, syntax, spelling and other minor mistakes. Thanks ahead of time. IvoShandor 15:22, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
    • Copyedit is as complete as this pair of eyes can make it. I think it's ready for final proof by a different pair of eyes. Unimaginative Username 01:16, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
  36. José Reinaldo de Lima - Very short, didn't need that much (to me). Peace, Tohru Honda13 23:22, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
  37. Against Jovinianus - organized it and some slight cleanup. BrokenSphere 01:53, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
  38. Hair prosthesis - copy-edited it as much as I could - this article is very incomplete, but I think this is the best it'll be for a while. Cricketgirl 16:33, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
  39. Economy of Tibet Supershow Seems like an interesting topic, but it may need work. I did what I could, a start, there could possibly be more work done. Showmanship is the key 00:04, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
  40. Movladi Udugov it's still only stub-class, but I've reworked it a fair bit from what it was. I have 2 major concerns which are on the talk page. Cricketgirl 19:08, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
  41. Phoebe Buffay "Marriage" and "Trivia" sections were the only ones copyedit requested for, those are the only ones I did. ~ Otterpops 19:14, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Proofread complete

  1. Select any article that you did not copyedit from the "Ready for final proofread" section. Edit as necessary and note what changed (e.g., grammar, added ref tag) in the edit summary.
  2. Remove the copyedit template, if it hasn't been already (this will take the article off of the "Articles Needing Copyedit" backlog).
  3. Edit the copy-editor's comment on the discussion page to list your name as a proofreader (detailed instructions here).
  4. Move the article to the bottom of this section, add {{done}} on a new line, and make any appropriate notes.
  5. Archive any article that was proofread more than one week ago.
  1. American Psycho - My friends, I want your help on this article. Make mr. Happy happy again. Rintrah 18:48, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
    • You asked for it, you got it. :o) I put quite a few notes in about content that didn't make sense to me. I also only lightly c/e'ed the Themes and Symbolism section, due to its "unverified/original research" tag. Galena11 16:28, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
      • I should also note that this article inspired me to create my first disambiguation page. So, a check to make sure I did that correctly would be appreciated. Galena11 16:32, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
        • The disambiguation page looks good; so good, in fact, I'm going to nominate it for Featured disambiguation. Anyway, thanks so much for your help! Mr. Happy is happy now. :o) Rintrah 16:42, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

    • very short article. I don't think there's really much more that can be done, with the tiny amount of material! Cricketgirl 15:45, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
      • Done just referencing to be done on this now. Cricketgirl 19:10, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
  3. Kebayoran Baru residential district in Jakarta, Indonesia. Short. Hillbillygirl 10:27, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
    • Have proofread this, looks OK now. More references would be nice, but this is not a c-editing problem... Cricketgirl 15:54, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

    • Have proofread this, looks fine to me. It asks for more wikification, but I can't see where this is necessary. Cricketgirl 17:57, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
      • Done just referencing to be done on this now, and the requested wikification (still don't see where...). Cricketgirl 19:10, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
