- Feel free to add new tasks or discuss them on the talk page.
- Add the television episode template to every episode of Invader Zim
- Browse each article and locate where sources are needed and tag with the fact template or whatever is appropriate.
- Insert sources where articles are tagged.
- Reduce overly long plot synopses as they may infringe copyrights.
- Work trivia items into the rest of the article per Wikipedia:Avoid trivia sections in articles.
- Clean up Invader Zim merchandise.
- Put the Invader Zim WikiProject template onto all talk pages that fall under the scope of the project.

Here are a few policies that apply to Invader Zim articles:
- WP:CITE - Citing sources. Say where you got your information from.
- WP:WAF - Writing about fiction. This policy has a good guide to how to write about things like Invader Zim and keep it encyclopaedic.
- WP:TONE - Remember to keep the tone of an encyclopaedia.
- WP:MOS - The manual of style. Each article should follow these guidelines to layout.
