  • Bookofsecrets - I grew up hearing that our family had ties to Native Americans, but it never went beyond that. After doing genealogy research for the past 27 years I have come to discover that I have a tremendous amount of Native American blood. I'm in the process of learning about my Native American heritage, culture, and language. I'm also in the process of learning about my own nv-wa-ti.
  • Dlayiga
  • James Crippen – I do linguistics, particularly the Na-Dené languages. I also do stuff on northern Northwest Coast, including Tlingit, Haida, Tsimshian, Eyak, and their neighbors.

  • Lulu of the Lotus-Eaters 19:57, 11 February 2006 (UTC) - I haven't really worked on these topics, but I do have a bit of background knowledge and would be interested in providing help/input on some pages.
  • Jaedglass - I substantially rewrote the page on Chief John Ross from a research paper on his life. I have also contributed to related pages including Pathkiller, Major Ridge, Elias Boudinot, Cherokee Nation v. Georgia, Worchester v. Georgia, and William Wirt.

  • Bkwillwm I did Economy of the Iroquois, and I'd like to expand Wikipedia's coverage fo Native Americans further
  • This won't be my primary project, and I don't know much but did want to add a little. My wife is part Odawa through her maternal grandmother. I'm impressed at how well organised/structured it is, congrats Phaedriel! ++Lar: t/c 03:44, 13 February 2006 (UTC)

But, then the project came to one of the pages that I already edit, Devils Tower National Monument. So count me in.

  • CJLippert — Issues dealing with Anishinaabe and Dakota Sioux cultures, histories and languages. Geographic emphases on the Great Lakes region. Due to the real world job working for the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Indians, Tribal sovereignty, treaty and constitutional issues are given weight, balanced with oral history common to the region. As one of the editors to the Freelang Ojibwe Dictionary, can often provide insight to Anishinaaabemowin.

  • User:Rewinn: married into Siletz, hope to get some of the kids interested in the history!
  • User:davidzukovny: interested in the history and culture of the Mi'kmaq (who strangely, do not seem to be listed below as a nation!). I would also like to help add more content on indigenous peoples to some of the pages on hitoric events (e.g the Seven Years War), many of which are not very balanced right now.
  • User:Vizjim. I've been studying contemporary literature in English by Native Americans for the best part of a decade and will be trying to flesh out the pages related to this topic. I'm particularly proud of my work on the Gerald Vizenor article. On my user page is a huge list of redlinks I would like to turn blue. Anyone fancy doing a Joy Harjo article? Vizjim 08:33, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
  • Kafziel - I live in New York's Hudson Valley, and there's a lot of native history here from the 17th and 18th centuries. I'll help however I can. Let me know if there's anything I can help you with.

  • Hazelii 09:48, 16 December 2006 (UTC): I'm not a expert or a scholar, but I'm particularly interested in seeing more well-developed articles on influential Native people in history. This can be tough to accomplish here as so many of the cross-references for various historical entries on wikipedia contain misinformation (or just a serious lack of Native perspective).
