Mesozoic (talk): {{Mesozoic}}
Paleozoic (talk): {{Paleozoic}}
Precambrian (talk): {{Precambrian}}
Proterozoic (talk): {{Proterozoic}}

(P.S. To whoever made those, thanks...)

Possible Future Goal: To make something like the table template pieces that the ToL uses... Preferably by using the Era name (e.g. {{Geoera_start | name = something}} as base and somehow hilighting the current era, then linking sub periods similar to how the {{Taxobox_section_subdivision}} template works... -- EmperorBMA|話す 20:16, 5 Aug 2004 (UTC)

For others, in the mean time, use this table form for now:

This period is part of the

Mesozoic era.

Cretaceous
Jurassic
Triassic

The Grey bold denotes the era the user is viewing. The nearby periods are listed in chronological order, top being most recent. The bar will float on the right (Just add "float:right;" to the table style).

(Style borrowed from History of Germany... ;)

Currently this only shows what the era that a period belongs to and the other periods in that same era. The goal is to categorize the entire system of eons, eras, periods, subperiods and epochs in a manner similar to a directory structure.

[edit] Discussion

Proposal: Add the Eon, Era, Subperiod like:

Eon: Phanerozoic
Era: Mesozoic
Triassic
Jurassic
Cretaceous

It is now possible to seamlessly enter the Centuries from the sidebar. -- Emperorbma 12:16, 5 Jan 2004 (UTC)
