[edit] Scope and goals

Essentially, this project deals with cataloguing and explaining fountain pens. A mid-term goal would be to have all of the significant pens of the big four (Wahl, Sheaffer, Waterman, Parker) catalogued, in addition to a few modern brands. The long-term goal is, of course, to include the big four almost in their entireties and to have a good explanation of other significant brands. In the short term, a brand-by-brand focus would be possible. Expect a significant emphasis on vintage fountain pens, due to a mass lack of fountain pen use today. A bimonthly focus (either pens or brands or mechanisms) will later be added.
