[edit] Guidelines
Note that these are only guidelines! These instructions are not set in stone.
[edit] Article talk page
The scope of this project already overlaps with several other projects, especially those that deal with countries. These guidelines will serve to help editors pick which templates to use on article talk pages.
-
- Diplomatic terms, processes, and occupations - Only {{WikiProject Foreign relations}} is necessary.
- International organizations - Affix {{WikiProject Foreign relations}}. If there is another applicable WikiProject, such as WikiProject United Nations, then you can affix the banner of that WikiProject as well.
- Diplomats - These articles require multiple WikiProject banners. Using {{WikiProjectBanners}} might be helpful. First, put {{WikiProject Foreign relations}}. Then, affix {{WPBiography}}. After that, get the banners of the Wikiprojects of the countries this particular diplomat represented and was assigned to. For example, Hersey Kyota would have banners on the talk page for Foreign relations, Biography, Micronesia, and United States.
- International meetings - Affix {{WikiProject Foreign relations}}.
