This page attempts to list some of the cycling-related categories and show some of the category relations. It is also a useful place to create new cycling-related categories, by editing links to the new categories, and clicking on the (red) links.
This page does not attempt to reproduce the entire network of cycling-related categories that one can see by browsing through the category pages. Rather, this page lists several points of entry into cycling-related categories, and serves as a place for creating new categories, and new links between existing categories.

These are some of the categories in what we would call the main cycling category. The logical starting point is:

A category which is primarily cycling-related should have the template: {{cycling project}} at or near the top of its talk page. This will help direct interested editors to WikiProject Cycling.
In some cases our project tag will be in addition to templates from other WikiProjects. Be sure the other WikiProjects' members welcome our project tag in addition to theirs. For more information, see: WP:PROJGUIDE#Article tagging.
