[edit] Goals
In wikipedia, the biography page of criminals are often used the same style and form with other regular biographies. However, due to the sensitiveness and uniqueness of their biography, something different needs to be done. The purpose of this project is to organize and improve articles that are biographies of notable criminals.
[edit] Current Development
[edit] Infobox for articles
There is this preliminary infobox for criminals, here Template:Infobox Criminal. However, the current box only has limited information. You are more than welcomed to expand it (be careful when doing it, as editing a template may affect all articles using the template).
[edit] Usage of this infobox
Copy the text below and fill the information:
Attention: Read this below text before inserting infobox
- Use the exact infobox text below and add the information of the criminal, but do not insert any rows that does not appear below, or alter any row into erroneous text, like using "convicted of" instead of "charge". Because if you do, the information will not show up.
- Please attach the person's birth/death place's national flag before the location in the "place of birth" and "place of death" row, using the template {{flagicon|countryname}}.
- Link the date, year, location, charges, and penalty if possible.
{{Infobox Criminal | subject_name = | image_name = | image_size = | image_caption = | date_of_birth = | place_of_birth = | date_of_death = | place_of_death = | charge = | penalty = | status = | occupation = | spouse = | parents = | children = }}
