Wikipedia:WikiProject Cricket/Cricket Collaboration of the Month
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Cricket Collaboration of the Month is a means for WikiProject Cricket members to work together and improve an article each month. The aim of the collaboration is to get atleast one cricket related article on the main page per month.

[edit] cricket
Inline citaions needed and bit of summarizing/copyediting needed; should be the main priority before anything else because it is the base article and most gobal attention is going to be on it during the world cup. The renovation is much needed.--Thugchildz 21:29, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Next Collaboration
Nominations for the next collaboration of the month should be made below; please do not nominate an article unless you are willing to contribute(help out) with the article. Editors who are willing to work on that article should add their signature below that article. When a new collaboration is to be chosen, the nomination with most supporters should be chosen.
Ideally, nominations should have a free picture of acceptable quality, so that if articles reach featured status they can be shown on the main page. However, it is perfectly acceptable to nominate an article in order to improve it to good article status.
[edit] Richie Benaud
Legend. Happy to leave until after the WC but this should be a priority then. —Moondyne 03:01, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] 2003 Cricket World Cup
Needs a lot of work done to it - it is brief, untidy, and lacks a lot of prose & citations. Compared with the 2007 Cricket World Cup article, it is pitiful. к1иg---f1$н---£я5ω1fт 13:44, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Bill O'Reilly (cricketer)
If this were a Featured Article, it would no doubt help in the recurring arguments over the disambig page. And besides, Bradman, among others, reckoned him among the greats. --Dweller 15:11, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Philadelphian cricket team
This is a very interesting article about a great American team. I've been working a lot on sourcing the statements that were in it, but it needs more work on pre- and post-first-class periods. It has a couple free images which would make it suitable for the main page at some point. It's being Peer Reviewed right now.--Eva bd 20:41, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Virender Sehwag
I have started to clean-up the article for major Indian cricket players and the Sehwag article has gone through a lot of scrubbing. Some work left on it on his test career and then we could probably take it for a peer review. Kalyan 20:45, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
