- Project news
- Our project employs Assessment grading and we have recently started using an importance rating on the has just added the importance rating to the Project Banner. This means we're participating in the WP:1.0 project. We need your help in tagging articles!
- Also added to the Project talk template is a way to add comments when you assign a class to an article. So if you rate something, leave a comment there about how it can be improved to bring it up another notch. These comments will then appear on our worklist automatically every night!
- We've also created a project newsletter, letting members and others know about the activities of the project. Unfortunately, I can't get the silly link to that thing in here for some reason. :( Anyway, feel free to make any comments on the improvement of it, indicate things you think should be included, or whether you think having it in the first place is a good idea or not. Any and all comments are welcome.

- Current proposals and discussions
- The project has recently expanded to try to help in the improvement of the articles relating to the big cats as well. Previously, these articles were not under the scope of any project. As many of them are important to wikipedia, and are of at least collateral interest to our membership as well, we have added them to the scope of the project. Many of these articles are to be included in the Wikipedia CD release, and could use some attention.
- We have also recently considered merging with the Wikipedia:WikiProject Cat breeds, given the high degree of overlap of the two projects. Any and all members of either project are welcome to offer their opinions on the proposed merger.
- Please feel free to help beef up our Project page if you know of other resources, etc.,

- We couldn't do it without you!
