From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This aim of this project is to improve, expand and create content related to Bam Margera, the CKY Videos and CKY, the band on the English Wikipedia.

[edit] Noticeboard

  • Wikipedia:WikiProject Jackass open for business.
  • Jess Margera recently made an offhand comment about Wikipedia on AskCKY that was both nonsense and trivial.
  • Trivia sections are really swelling. Please consider deleting unsourced trivia on-sight, adding {{trivia}} tags and integrating trivia items to other sections of articles. Once a trivia section has been cleaned up and removed (as happened on Bam Margera), or in articles with no existing trivia, a trivia section should NOT be created.
  • List of Viva La Bam episodes and List of Bam's Unholy Union episodes split from main articles. Consider adding the new pages to your watchlist.

[edit] To do: Core articles

[edit] CKY Videos

  • Per the template on Talk:CKY (video series), a few bits and pieces need to be done to bring it up to "Start class". An infobox and some development of ideas and pop-culture references are the main things.

[edit] CKY (band)

  • The CKY (band) article has been tagged as unreferenced. Any sources / citations of existing or new facts would be helpful.. Check out WP:CITE or contact me for a crash course in how to add references.
  • A lot of material has been created about pre-CKY projects (OiL, Foreign Objects, Rudy & Blitz etc). Some of these really fail to demonstrate notability (eg demo tapes), outright deletion or redirecting to parent articles is the solution.

[edit] CKY Crew

  • April Margera and Brandon Dicamillo have had their images deleted. This is fine because the images weren't that great to begin with. If anyone could find some legitimate fair use or even better user created images to add to these articles that would be great.
  • Chris Raab has been quite legitimately stripped of a great deal of true, but unsourced content. Again, this shows the importance of sources...
    • I recently edited the page and put in reliable sources about what happened to Raab after Viva La Bam. These answers were from Jess Margera and Deron Miller, this might clear up things for now. Nocarsgo 18:31, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] To do: Creation, moves, merges, miscellaneous

  • General - sourcing & formatting. See Bam Margera for a good standard of both
  • General - grammar, spelling, punctuation and presentation. Use formal English and remember this is an encyclopedia - don't be afraid to ask for a second opinion if you're not the world's best writer.

[edit] Deletion

Please strike out and list result after close. Remove after closed for 7 days.

  • Bam the game Deleted

[edit] Protection

Remove after protection expires. Please propose suggested protections on article or project talkpages.

[edit] Semi protection

[edit] Wikiproject Templates
