[edit] C1: Tollgate House

Tollgate House has no illustrations and is currently very short -- hopefully including it here will also help increase the length and quality of the text.

The most encyclopedic photos would probably be those showing the building when it was in use, either alone or in context of surrounding buildings. If the article grows long enough to warrent two photos then we could also include one during demolition, or one of specific architectural details.

Note: There were no entries for this challenge.

[edit] C2: Bristol International Balloon Fiesta

Bristol International Balloon Fiesta will be a very tough one to win: we already have one fantastic photo of the morning ascent. The article is currently a little short, but I think it can be expanded a little, and we may be able to get three images in. One of the night glow and one of the balloons going over the city, or seen from somewhere like the Downs would be great. And you can still try to challenge the morning ascent shot.

This years fiesta is 10-13 August, and the website is here. You can, of course, submit photos from your archives though.

Comment: I went to the balloon fiesta on saturday 12 aug, and took a number of pictures of the various things happening there. I've uploaded the best 100 of them to my website. Due to time constraints, I'm not entering them into the competition here, but if anyone wants any of the pictures I took for use on articles here, please let me know their IDs and I'll upload them to Wikimedia Commons under CC-BY-SA. The same goes for any picture on my website. Mike Peel 20:34, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
