[edit] Scope
This WikiProject's primary goal is to improve the main pages of all BBC sitcoms, therfore providing more information to viewers about some extremely good comedies. Completing this we would like to create articles on all the major characters from the sitcoms and eventually create pages on some of the more minor characters. Finally, we would like to create pages on each and every episode of major sitcoms and some of the best episodes from more minor sitcoms. Prehaps, once this is complete, we can set about improving pages on ITV, Channel 4 and five sitcoms as well.

[edit] Structure
[edit] Goals
- To improve the main pages of some sitcoms, so that they can become Good Articles and potentially Feature articles.
- Encourage people to create descendant projects focusing on one sitcom.
[edit] Adopt an article
Similar to the Collaboration of the week, but on a smaller scale, you might want to "adopt" an article. This would involve doing the research, writing, and picture-taking (if possible) for either a non-existent article or a stub. Of course, everyone else can still edit an adopted article, and you can work on other things too, but the idea is to find a focus for a while, to try and build up the number of quality articles the Project has produced.

[edit] Infoboxes
- {{Infobox Television episode}} - for consistency and to avoid undue stress on the servers, please avoid creating new templates for specific shows. If there is a field that you feel you wish incorporated, consider suggesting it at Template talk:Infobox Television episode. The JPStalk to me 14:20, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
