Welcome to WikiProject: Australian crime |
Our goals are:
|
We need your help! If you are from Australia and know about crime, you can:
|
[edit] Project scope
The areas covered by this project are listed below. Each area has its own page for the discussion and formulation of guidelines and conventions, as well as for listing examples of the best articles. If a page does not yet exist for a particular area, feel free to create it and propose how that part of the Project might be organised.
[edit] Ways to complete our goal
- Create more quality articles on crime in Australia, Australian criminals and related topics.
- Add quality information and help expand Australian crime-related stubs.
- Attract attention from editors interested in crime and Australian criminal-related topics.
If you would like to help or join the project, you can view all articles related to this WikiProject here, or help us expand on our stubs. For a full list of articles, see this page: Category:Crime biographical stubs and Category:Crime stubs
[edit] Article assessment
|
The {{WP Australian crime}} template has a class= parameter that provides an article assessment rating:
- {{WP Australian crime| class=??? }}
The following values may be used for the parameter. Please note that you must type them exactly as below as they are case-sensitive:
- FA (adds articles to Category:FA-Class Australian crime articles)
- A (adds articles to Category:A-Class Australian crime articles)
- GA (adds articles to Category:GA-Class Australian crime articles)
- B (adds articles to Category:B-Class Australian crime articles)
- Start (adds articles to Category:Start-Class Australian crime articles)
- Stub (adds articles to Category:Stub-Class Australian crime articles)
- NA (for pages where assessment is unnecessary, such as templates; adds items to Category:Non-article Australian crime pages)
If a rating is not assigned, the article will be filed in Category:Unassessed Australian crime articles. The class should be assigned according to the grading scheme. A list of Unassessed and In dispute articles can be discussed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Australian crime/Article assessment.

[edit] Adopt an article
Similar to the Collaboration of the week, but on a smaller scale, you might want to "adopt" an article. This would involve doing the research, writing, and picture-taking (if possible) for either a non-existent article or a stub. Of course, everyone else can still edit an adopted article, and you can work on other things too, but the idea is to find a focus for a while, to try and build up the number of quality articles the Project has produced.
