[edit] Jindyworobak Movement

one user, who has done quite a bit of usefull work on the article, seem to wants to turn the article into a soap-box for his dubious opinions on ethnicity. i pulled him up on one or 2 points (he's scottish, & appears to have no background knowledge of aust. history or lit.) & this has since degenerated. he's started going on about my racism etc. cld be usefull if someone else commented. thnx    bsnowball  16:43, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

A few issues - some of which need to be addressed before any imbalance in the article can be looked at

  • References - there are none that I can see from a reliable source. Needs references, for this subject preferably inline per WP:CITE
Once this is addressed then other can start helping but, without references, it does read as an essay.
  • The lead is too short and needs to summarise the article per WP:LEAD
  • Some headings are not ideal... I've fixed this as I saw fit.
  • There are weasel words in the article - see WP:AWT for details on this.
  • 1930s and 1950s in the lead should usually not be wikilinked. Only wikilink specific dates so that date format preferences work.
