[edit] Backing Australia's Ability
I would like to hear from others what other information about BAA would be useful to add to the article. John Vandenberg 15:07, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
- Put in something about the outcomes or results - was the money spent - did it all go on buracracry or was anything achieved? Interest in science for school kids is at an all time low, so perhaps the education has been wasted.
- Given that the 5 years from 2001 are up, is there a successor plan?
- The article is mainly lists rather than prose. Wikipedia likes prose. GB 04:22, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
Great points Graeme. As far as I know, the package is primarily aimed at tertiary education and research in Australia (with a twist on trying to ensure the sector is driven by commercial profit incentives). So far I have concentrated on collating the facts, hence the lists; I'll start working on making it more of an enjoyable read. I've been creating sub-articles for the various outcomes, such as the Systemic Infrastructure Initiative. BBA was extended with the Building our Future through Science and Innovation initiative, which I have covered as a section of the article, but I havent mentioned the current state of play in the intro.
