[edit] Adopt an article

Similar to the Collaboration of the week, but on a smaller scale, you might want to "adopt" an article. This would involve doing the research, writing, and picture-taking (if possible) for either a non-existent article or a stub. Of course, everyone else can still edit an adopted article, and you can work on other things too, but the idea is to find a focus for a while, to try and build up the number of quality articles the Project has produced.

Check Wikipedia:WikiProject Melbourne#Adopt an article to see how this section is used.

[edit] Requests

Do you have any requests for project members? Add them here.

  • Sedona, Arizona is one of the hottest tourist locations, second only to the Grand Canyon. I want more info included about my hometown, and its Majestic qualitys.
Anything specific that needs elaborating? I could research things a bit more if I had examples of what should be included. I read the article and it seems fairly thorough. Emphasising a town's "Magestic qualities" will make an article cross from encyclopedic to a Chamber of Commerce brochure. CascadiaTALK|HISTORY 22:02, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
  • Just noticed that two historic hotels in Flagstaff did not have articles, so I created stubs for them. Please check out the Weatherford Hotel and Hotel Monte Vista articles and add to them in any way that you can. Dr. Cash 18:43, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
