Wikipedia:WikiProject ASP

The goal of WikiProject ASP is to create, expand, update and standardize articles in relation to the Association of Surfing Professionals. Anyone who would like to take part in this project is welcome to. There are no obligations, any help is much appreciated. The following tasks can sum up the WikiProject ASP main areas of focus:

• Create and expand pages on ASP World Tour surfers (both men and women)
• Create and expand pages on ASP World Tour events (both men and women)
• Expand and update ASP World tour pages (including history, local governing bodies, etc.)
• Standardise all content using uniform templates and infoboxes
• Maintain WikiProject ASP (this page)
• Keep an eye out for vandalism

Any contributions are warmly welcome. Although becoming a member of this project or not makes little difference, it will help users find one another much more easily. If you wish to state your intentions the project by signing up, simply do one of the following:

• Open new or existing page that you want to edit, and select edit this page in the top navigation.
• Ammend {{Infobox ASP Surfer}} and fill in the necessary information. More information can be found on the template page.
• Include article, making note to include necessary internal links. Be careful for copyright issues. This is the where the main bulk of information goes.
• You can compliment the main text with references, external links, or even the surfer's title wins.
• If the page is not up to a preferable standard of quality, ammend {{ASP-stub}}. This will help others locate pages that need more attention.
• Include succession if surfer is a world champion, example:
