[edit] Re:akron wiki

I didn't. feydey 15:35, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re:Akron Wiki

It was deleted because it does not belong on Wikipedia. There was an AfD that voted upon the article's existence, and the consensus was to delete the article. See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Akron Wiki. Nishkid64 00:07, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

Wikipedia has notability guidelines (see WP:WEB in particular). Do not recreate the article as it will be deleted again. And by "other wikis have them", what are you exactly referring to? That they have Wikipedia articles? Explain, please. Nishkid64 00:14, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
By the way, you sign your name with ~~~~ at the end of your edits to a talk page. Nishkid64 00:15, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
Comixpedia is up for deletion, just like Akron Wiki had. Akron Wiki is a wiki for one city in the whole world! You don't need an article on a wiki that has no international, or national significance. Nishkid64 00:23, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
Akroness was deleted per Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Akroness. It's not notable, so it doesn't belong on Wikipedia. Did you see the notability guidelines? That explains what articles should be made and what shouldn't. Nishkid64 00:27, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
Don't be silly. There's no need to apologize. I know you only wanted the best for your wiki and I acknowledge that. However, Wikipedia guidelines often are the reason why these type of articles are deleted. It's unfortunate this happened to Akron Wiki, but hey...what can we do. =) Nishkid64 00:42, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
Okay, friend. Umm...edit something that you have interest in or have a good deal of knowledge in. It depends what you really want to contribute on Wikipedia. There's 1,500,000+ articles! The opportunities are endless. Nishkid64 00:44, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of OneCommunity

The article OneCommunity has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --Slowking Man 01:21, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
