Perhaps you should take a look at this biased page (Vince Young), when I tried last week to add objective facts (referenced and footnoted), they were revert and removed by you Wiki-Cops who are biased UT fans, so now what is the problem, I am reinforcing the positive biased POVs and you also remove, who is in charge of this mess, you people are trolls.
- Thanks for the heads up. It looks like it has been taken care of. Best, Johntex\talk 17:47, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
How to handle concerns about biased articles Apologies, my mistake
If you truly believe an article is biased, the correct courses of action are to either: * Correct the bias yourself * Tag the article with a {{pov}} tag, then put a note on the article's talk page detailing your concerns.— ERcheck (talk) 20:35, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
Billy Graham
You reverted a death hoax in Billy Graham. Unfortunately, you missed one revision that 72.40.171.162 had made. I believe I have corrected this. --Kevinkor2 21:39, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
Usernames and judgment
I'd like to encourage you to consider very carefully before bringing new users to WP:RFC/U for username violations that are anything other than obvious. The recent User:Cuttingforyou kerfuffle is a good example of how good intentions can end up scaring off people who haven't even edited yet. It's not clear if that user is coming back, but so far it doesn't look good. There's plenty of work to do on the project that doesn't involve patrolling new-user creation logs for usernames that miiiiiiight offend someone somewhere. "Username patrol" isn't stub sorting or other gnomish work that just makes the project better and lets us stay in our own little worlds, it's something that directly affects others, and a misstep can have sad consequences for Wikipedia. Best regards, and I hope this message finds you thoughtful and well. - CHAIRBOY (☎) 21:42, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
Funny thing
I didn't even vote or try to take any sort of stand on that one. I just didn't get to what y'all saw it as referencing. Nice new username, by the way. --Kukini hablame aqui 22:34, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
- Oh...and also, I really did not see anything wrong with bringing that name up for review. If you thought it might be not in keeping with policy, that is totally understandable. Kukini hablame aqui 22:38, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
Recent Change
My change was warrented and should not have been removed. When an article on a band states that X bands are influenced by this particular band without giving further analysis or sources, or when it seems just throw in at the end not fitting with the rest of the article (as this was), it should be removed. If this is really a website where anyone has the right to edit, simple corrections such as this shouldn't be quickly dismissed as vandalism. --75.68.195.99 02:16, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
