[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:House-of-abbud.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:House-of-abbud.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator.

This image is not copyright free use. It has non-commercial rights only and is not suited for Wikipedia. Thank you. Nv8200p talk 21:03, 10 February 2006 (UTC)

The licensing is really not appropriate to claim as a GFDL or other "free" image on Wikipedia. See Image use policy. However, if you can make a fair use justification, then images from the site might be OK. -Nv8200p talk 14:55, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
I updated the image with all that I believe you need. They can click on the copyright link to get the info you had on the image description. -Nv8200p talk 18:41, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Baha'i pictures

Hi Wiki-uk, thanks for putting up so many Baha'i pictures. -- Jeff3000 13:45, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Bahá'í Template

Hi Wiki-uk, to change a template (anything that is within {{ }}), you have to go to the "Template:" + name article, so for example to edit the Bahá'í template, you can go to Template:Bahá'í. Regardless, I've done the change you requested. -- Jeff3000 14:16, 23 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Baha'i prophecies

Thanks for the note. I'll see what I can add in the next couple days. -- Jeff3000 14:10, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

I may have some time to work on this tomorrow, but if I don't get to it, it may have to wait a little since I'm pretty busy these days. -- Jeff3000 05:06, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
Much better.  :) -- Jeff3000 16:58, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] e-mail

Hi Wiki-uk, can you set up your e-mail in Wikipedia, so that I can e-mail you. Conversely, you can e-mail me through the link on the left side panel on my user page. Thanks. -- Jeff3000 00:19, 2 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Enoch-olinga.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Enoch-olinga.jpg. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 13:05, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] diagram

Hi Wiki-uk,

About the new diagram Image:Present-bahai-administration.jpg you made. I have a suggestion. Add the regional Baha'i council between the local and national assemblies. Also, I suggest putting the continental counsellors over the national spiritual assemblies. Also, crop the image to take out white space around the edge.

Looks good! Cuñado - Talk 00:56, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Rohru people

Hi, thats a nice image of Rohru people. Did you click it yourself? Rohru is quite remotely located. (I belong to the state) -- Lost(talk) 05:25, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image:10-haparsim-street.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:10-haparsim-street.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. – Quadell (talk) (random) 20:28, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Copyright statuses on images

Intentionally misrepresenting the copyright status of images you upload to Wikipedia is a serious offense, and many users have been permanently banned for doing so. – Quadell (talk) (random) 13:44, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

Wow. It looks like I falsely accused you here. Sorry about that! Thanks for uploading your own images to Wikipedia. – Quadell (talk) (random) 18:15, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Bahiyyih-nakhjavani.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Bahiyyih-nakhjavani.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

Thank you. - Tragic Baboon (banana receptacle) 00:36, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Area 51 Skatepark

I deleted it because the English version of the article did not mention that it was one of the largest skateparks in Europe. The English article said that it was simply a skatepark in Eindhoven. According to Wikipedia policy, simply stating that it exists, and where, is not enough to meet the minimum notability threshhold. However, after reading the Dutch revision you gave me, I will restore the article, add the information that it is one of the largest skate parks in Europe (which is enough to assure notability), and make a note on the talk page that an administrator has reviewed the speedy deletion of the article, and it should not be tagged for speedy deletion in the future. I hope this a helpful response. Regards, RyanGerbil10(Упражнение В!) 16:18, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Maneckji Limji Hataria

The article can only be expanded using Boyce's article on Maneckji, right? I am not aware of much more on him than that. Was her article your source? Shabdiz 19:06, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
