[edit] Striver

Welcome to Wikipedia. On Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Not mentioning the faults of the Sahaba (Sunni doctrine) and on Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Jersey Devil you wrote that Striver's stated goal is to present a specific POV, on his own admission, and that this sometimes extends to defending his contributions with religious zeal. Apparently to support of this claim you gave a link to his user page.

Perusing that page, I can't see any statement of such a goal. (I can find that he feels that "the Shia view needs to be represented in Wikipedia", something I wholeheartedly agree with. I also think that the Sunni view, the Buddhist view, and the agnostic view need to be represented — fairly, in a neutral way.) What exactly is the wording that makes you think he "admitted" such a thing? Combined with the words "religious zeal", your claim can be read as a personal attack, which is a big no-no on Wikipedia. Perhaps you should consider taking it back. Respectfully yours, LambiamTalk 10:57, 23 March 2006 (UTC)
