[edit] Early Life
Martino was raised in Cedarville, NY until he reached his fifth birthday. Throughout most of Matthew's childhood, his mother worked in St. Luke's Hospital as a registered nurse on the night shift. Joseph Nicholas Martino was and continues to be a successful Insurance Agent. For several months between the Martino's move from Cedarville to Sauquoit, NY; Matthew and his family lived with Laurene's parents in West Winfield, NY. It was here that Matthew would commute to Sauquoit Valley Elementary School, work for his family on his grandparent's farm, and learn discipline and friendship. Matthew's cousins were all very close and he learned to idolize their lives.

When his family moved to Sauquoit, NY; Matthew began interacting in many organizations while still livng a "loner" lifestyle. In his Senior year, Matthew is the captain and a two-way starter on his Varsity football team. Martino is starting his second term as president of the Sauquoit Valley Forensics team and his first term as president of the Sauquoit Valley Drama Club.
