Assessment Report

  1. Article needs to be expanded using Wikipedia:WikiProject UK geography/How to write about settlements as a guide.
  2. More photos need to be added.
  3. References and Citations are crucial for wikipedia, and so these must be added as the article is expanded. Make sure that as many as possible are "in-line" citations.(See WP:References, WP:V, and WP:CITE for guidance.)

Added the picture of widnes central but couldn't get the thumb nail view to work for some reason. If anyone can address this it would be appreciated.

Homeward Bound

If Simon wrote this (or got the idea for it) in 1965, it couldn't have been at Widnes Central since this was closed in 1964. It may have been Ditton, closed 1992 (from which factories can be seen, unlike from the present Widnes station which is in leafy suburbia). This would also make sense if he was heading to London. Thought the fairest thing is to note there is a dispute over the station in question. Doesn't anyone here know Paul Simon - if so - ask him!
