Wickham is a townsite located 1572 km north of Perth and 13 km north of Roebourne in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The town was built in 1968-1970 by the Cliffs Robe River mining company to support the nearby Cape Lambert port. The town and the facilites at Cape Lambert are now owned by Rio Tinto and the operations are called Pilbara Iron.
Wickham was originally a closed company town, but beginning a few years after the town's founding, the State Housing Commission built public housing.
