Wicked Cycle

The Wicked Cycle is a series of novels by Gregory Maguire based on the Oz series by L. Frank Baum.

The first, Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, was published in 1995 and adapted into the current hit Broadway musical Wicked in 2003.

The second novel, Son of a Witch, was published in 2005.

In October 2006, Maguire announced that he was working on the third novel A Cowardly War, in which the central character will be the Cowardly Lion.[1]
