Wichita Collegiate School is an not-for-profit nonpublic nonaccredited college preparatory school located at 9115 E. 13th Street, Wichita KS, 67206. The school was founded in 1963 with 100 students. The school has grown to more than 960 students. Wichita Collegiate School is an independent coeducational day school for children in grades preschool through 12th grade. The school motto is: "Probe te Dignum Evermore!" (latin)

Wichita Collegiate School is one of 82 schools that are members of the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest (ISAS) and the only ISAS member in Kansas. According to the school, it was accredited by ISAS in 1963. According to the ISAS website, it considers membership in the organization to be synonymous with accreditation. However, ISAS is not recognized as an acceptable accrediting agency by any of the United States regional accrediting bodies. ISAS also is not recognized by the U.S. Dept. of Education as one of acceptable national accrediting bodies. However, the Council for Higher Education Accreditation website states the following, in its list of Recognized Accrediting Organizations^[1]:

According to the ISAS, its member schools submit themselves to a demanding evaluation process and rigorous standards for membership.^[2] Nevertheless, when dealing with accrediting bodies that are not accepted by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or the United States Department of Education, one must research if they could be an accreditation mill.

According to the Kansas Department of Education, Wichita Collegiate School is a "nonaccredited nonpublic" school. ^[3]

The school reports an average class size is 15-17 students, high scores on standardized tests, and claims that nearly 100% of its students goes on to attend college.^[4] The headmaster is Tom Davis.^[5]
