WICU-TV is the NBC affiliate based in Erie, Pa. It is currently owned by the Montecito Broadcast Group. Its transmitter is located in Greene Township, Erie County.

The station's signal covers Erie; Warren and Crawford counties. It also reaches Jamestown, New York; Ashtabula, Ohio; parts of southern Ontario and south to Clarion, Pennsylvania; however, the region's terrain prevents low-lying towns such as Titusville and Warren from receiving WICU over-the-air.

WICU is also seen in the London, Ontario area on Rogers Cable channel 61. The station was seen on cable channel 12 in London prior to September 1988, and has since been at various points in the extended basic lineup.

The station is located at 3514 State St. in Erie.

WICU also has a local marketing agreement with CBS affiliate WSEE-TV and the CW network affiliate WBEP.

WICU-TV is housed in the first building in the United States specifically constructed to house a TV station. The building was completed in January 1949 and the station signed on Tuesday March 15, 1949.

WICU is the first Channel 12 to be licensed in the USA.[citation needed]
