For an intelligent critism on this book (and I recommend reading this for anyone interested in this book and others like it) go to...

[1]

Its titled: Trends and Flaws in Some Anti-Muslim Writing as Exemplified by Ibn Warraq Jeremiah D. McAuliffe, Jr., Ph.D.

That quote doesn't read like criticism. Where does he actually criticize Why I am not a Muslim? Dsol 12:56, 22 December 2005 (UTC)
I read this "criticism" before. There was a link to it in one of the many review of this book on amazon. Actually it is quite a hoot to read all the muslim nut job postings [2] nearly all of whom have clearly not read the book and nicely illustrate many of Ibn's points.

[edit] Suggestions for article

If there is going to be an entire article on this book, there should be more discussion of its significance, rather than just a list of the chapters, etc. The article should provide background and contextual information about the book, so that even people who have read the book can learn about it from the article. For example, what was feedback to the book? How was it received and by whom? What was and is the popularity of the book? Why did the author write the book? (Needs to be explained in text of article, not just randomly placed "Quote from author.") How does it compare to related books? For example, what is its connection to the book Why I Am Not a Christian (to which there is an unexplained link)? And so on. Otherwise, it seems a waste of space to have an entire article for this book, instead of just redirecting to the Ibn Warraq page (which, for that matter, needs some expansion too). -Emiellaiendiay 07:16, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
