Whitman Middle School is a middle school in Seattle, Washington, United States. The school, run by Seattle Public Schools, is one of Seattle's largest middle schools, with an enrollment of 970 students as of the 2006-2007 school year. As well as core classes (Social Studies, Language Arts, Math, and Science) a variety of electives are offered as either full- or partial year electives, including CAD drafting, Computer, Woodshop, Art, Choir, Orhestra, and Band. The foreign language program at Whitman offers classes in Spanish, French and Japanese, and Whitman operates an exchange program with its sister school, Izushi Junior High School in Izushi, Japan.
