From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Whitfield is a civil parish situated in the English county of Kent approximately 13 miles south of Canterbury.
Situated about four miles north of Dover, Whitfield has basically become a suburb of it.

The Ramada hotel, once a local icon of modern architecture in independent ownership, is situated off of Singledge Lane, parallel to the Dover-London A2 road. Whitfield also has a couple of pubs called the Royal Oak and the Archer, a fish and chip shop, local newsagents and McDonalds on the service station at the A2.
