White main sequence stars are dwarf stars of spectral type A. These are not white dwarfs, which are remnants of low-mass stars. They can vary from 1.5 to 3 times the mass of the Sun and have a surface temperature between 7100 and 9750 K. Examples include Sirius A and Vega.
