White Deer Inn

The White Deer Inn is an inn situated to the east of the capital of Dunan, Muse, in the Muse Principtality of the Dunan Area of Konami's fictional Suikoden World.
During the Dunan Unification War it was briefly used as a base for the future leader of the Unification Army, Riou, who had been turned away from Muse at the door because he did not have the appropriate documents. So, with nowhere to go the Inn Keeper, Hilda, offered Riou's party a bed for the night.
The following morning, in an effort to get into Muse, Riou, his best friend Jowy, and his sister Nanami, offered their services to the Inn Owner's husband Alex in his quest to acquire the treasure hidden in the Sindar Ruins hidden behind the Inn. In return Alex would loan his papers to Riou's party, to get into Muse.
Jowy left the little girl Pilkila behind to play with Pete (Alex and Hilda's son) and the party left to help Alex. After a while of exploring the Sindar Ruins they found the room where the treasure was rumoured to be hidden. However, a mystical monster called the Double Head attacked them. Riou's party defeated it, only to find the long-lost treasure of Sindar was only a Healing Herb.
Disagraced, Alex left the Ruins and threw the Herb to the ground. Upon the party's return, Pete called for help, as Hilda was down with an unknown illness. Riou, remembering the Herb, ran and retrieved the herb and gave it to Hilda.
She quickly became better and, the following morning, Alex handed over the documents to allow Riou access to Muse.
