White Box Enterprise Linux

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

White Box Enterprise Linux is a free Linux distribution that is an alternative to Red Hat Enterprise Linux, primarily funded by the Beauregard Parish Library in Louisiana. White Box aims to be 100% binary compatible with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

This product is derived from the free software made available by Red Hat, Inc but is not produced, maintained or supported by Red Hat. Specifically, this product is forked from the source code for version 3 of Red Hat's GNU/Linux distribution under the terms and conditions of the free software licences under which it is distributed.
