It lives in forest habitats, commonly found in Angola, Benin, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Congo, The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Liberia, Mali, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Tanzania & Uganda. The status of the species is evaluated as Least Concern.
