Z102 is a radio station in Zanesville, Ohio. The station is licensed as WHIZ-FM, and broadcasts at 102.5 MHz on the FM band. Z102 plays Adult contemporary music, and is owned by the WHIZ Media Group (which also owns WHIZ (AM) and WHIZ-TV).
The city of license for WHIZ-FM was changed from Zanesville to Baltimore, Ohio in the fall of 2005. On March 27, 2006, the station owner filed an application for a construction permit to build a new transmitter in its new licensed area. When the construction permit is granted and the new transmitter is completed, WHIZ-FM will be part of the Columbus, Ohio market and will no longer serve the Zanesville area.
