[edit] Rockipedia
I've added the "{{tl|prod}}" template to the article Rockipedia, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at Talk:Rockipedia. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles f[http://www.howardwfrench.com/photos/albums/zeguo/granny.jpg]or Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. [edit] Vandalism
I noticed some of your contributions and I think they were highly inappropriate and unnecessary.
james admit it[3]s you!
[edit] Identity
Are you James Whitehead who goes to Perins School. Where do you live? Postcode? Area?
How do you know Fourmarks and Perins School, because you edit them a lot.
- I currently live in student accommodation in Coventry, near the centre of the town and quite near the university. My postcode is CV1 2HN. Please don't come knocking! My name, as it states very clearly on my user page, is John Michael Whitehead, and I assume the James Whitehead you're talking about is the one who emailed me asking me to clearly state my name on my user page.
- I found out about Four Marks and Perins School because the random article link took me there. Four Marks was mentioned as a feeder school in the Perins article, so I researched the school and added the page. A small but necessary contribution! I've never edited the Perins school article, and I wouldn't call my edits "a lot" in any sense.
- I hope that clears up some of your queries. Also, whoever is adding repeatedly either that my name is James Whitehead or that I am a "nob" to my user page, please stop. I am not either of those and I'd appreciate it if you could stop. --John Whitehead 21:[4]46, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
Seriously whitehead, we know its you, there is no other person it could be
- Well, it is a "whitehead", but I suspect that I am not the one of whom you speak. However, it is indeed me, John. And you're right: it is nobody else, as it's me.
you own an iRiver (you write about it)
- I don't own an[5] iRiver. I found information about the iriver H300 when researching rockbox for my Archos Recorder v2. I came across information on it and decided that the current article at that time was insufficient.
you wanted to install Linux or something on your Xbox (you said you were and you needed Mech assault)
- I did. Unfortunately I didn't manage to find Mechassault, and so gave up on it. I have no plans to use my Xbox for anything other than gaming.
you coincidently went to both the schools you wrote about
- No, I didn't. As I explained before, I didn't go to either of those schools.
you have the same initials
- As who? Some other person you repeatedly tell me of called James Whitehead. So what? Even that seems to be a common name: Google
your gmail is whiteheadj so you obviously use that user name
- It is the obvious user name for my real name. John Whitehead = Whiteheadj. If other people use it on different services then it comes as no surprise to m[6]e. And I'm afraid I don't have a gmail account. I use Windows Live Mail for email.
you admitted it was you and then decided to change your mind and say the opposite
- I have been open all along about saying that my user page is, in fact, put up by me. If you mean "you" to mean "James Whitehead", then I can't help you.
you told kevin about rockipedia, something you wrote about
- Again, who's "kevin"? I certainly haven't told him anything. I wrote about Rockipedia because I was involved in its progress for my Archos. Unfortunately it's come to nothing now.
You made an account called Johnnyb272 that deleted your user page.
- I'm afraid I didn't. I don't know who "Johnnyb272" is, or why he deleted my user page, but I certainly didn't have anything to do with it.
You play the clarinet
- No, I don't. I have been made aware of the user box which was on my page stating that I did, but I can assure you that I don't and never have done. I used to play the bass guitar, but I gave up when I left college. I don't know why that user box was there: I certainly didn't put it there. If you look at the history you did. You also wrote it in your text http://en.wikivpedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Whiteheadj&oldid=82328807
You play the piano
- Again, I don't any more. I started at primary school but stopped in Year 3. I got bored.
I'm starting to think that this person copies everything you do, that means everything.
who else it could it be?
- Well, me, for a start.
ps, you have edited Perins http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Perins_School&oldid=27834479
with some minor corrections
- Sorry for not remembering! As I sort of said before, I came across the article and felt I needed to add a capital "F" and an "r" to "February". Why does that matter?
Bye
Ben
Don't you think its a little too much coincidence to be true, James Whitehead?
- No. It doesn't surprise me that there is apparently somebody out there called James Whitehead who happens to have several things in common with a fraction of the articles I have edited. Look at the results for "james whitehead" on google, as I posted earlier. Also, look at the results for just "j whitehead". 1,310,000 results means there's probably quite a lot of coincidence out there.[8]
Do you like maths at all?
- No, but I did an A-level in Maths and know a little about it. Why?
And don't you think this is getting childish now? I don't know why you expect me to answer your questions, although I have done so up until now. --John Whitehead 21:06, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
Dear John,
Ah, well your argument on loads of people is quite slim actually. James was telling me the same point just at school earlier (about Google) so you must share the same minds.
- Or he might just have read the same reply...
Also, James uses the gmail of whiteheadj, obviously one of his usernames for things. When searching in Google for "whiteheadj" there are just 2000 results. Hardly a coincidence now.
- Yes, but that represents about 2000 people who use the username "whiteheadj". It could have been any one of them to snap it up on wikipedia, but [9]I got there first. Sorry if you don't believe that. I admit that it seems unlikely and bizarre, and I was surprised myself when James contacted me, but I'm afraid that every word of it is true.
You may not be the James I know, but i find it extremely weird, and very impossible that it isn't.
- Weird maybe, but not impossible.
Kev
- Are you the "Kevin" that "Ben" told me about?
I'm sure as a student you wouldnt mind posting a image of yourself at the University of Warwick, with evidence your name is John Whitehead. JN
- Actually, I would mind. I have already violated my privacy to some extent by posting my address on the internet. I'm hardly going to then post my Driver's licence, or a scan of my passport.
However, this really is getting stupid. I have asserted repeatedly that I am not, and have never met, and know next to nothing about this James Whitehead who you seem so sure that I am. Coincidence it may be that he has a little in common with my edits, but there are a great many people in the world. And while you're at it, I'm not any of these people either:
- John Whitehead (1860–1899), English explorer and naturalist.
- J. Gordon Whitehead, Contributed to the death of Houdini
- J. H. C. Whitehead, British mathematician and nephew of A. N. Whitehead
- John C. Whitehead, statesman, philanthropist
- [[Joseph White[10]head]] (1814–1894), Canadian railway pioneer
- Joseph Whitehead (1867–1938), lawyer, politician, Representative Democrat Virginia 1925–1930
- (from Whitehead)
maybe its not him. Ill ask him to make a comment on here. Then the matter will be closed.
Well, Ok then. John, i've been told that you wanted to hear from me. Well, this is james whitehead - the one who plays the clarinet and piano, went to Four marks, goes to Perins and owns an iriver. james.
[edit] Proof
Fairly conclusive proof.

Edit 2 by John http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Whiteheadj&oldid=111420351
Ip address used on this edit was 84.12.195.219
These IP addresses are slightly different, due to the fact that james/john has a dynamic ip adress.
Both IP addresses are from same isp and are both dynamic.

Now that is pre[12]tty much proof of who John is.
[edit] Proof X2
You have conclusively beaten that old German baseball player into a small pit. We have evidence, you lost the war.
The Nazi defence has been breached.
