[edit] disambiguation

  • the fact that two bands of the same name exist merits some sort of disambiguation; suggestions for the page names? having one as Whipping Boy and the other as Whipping Boy (band) isn't really the best solution. --Kaini 02:43, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
Well I cleaned up the disambig page for now, but I reckon Whipping Boy (Irish Band) would be a good name. A similar naming format is used for people - I've seen footballers with the same names distinguished like that.
Also, I think we can afford to lose the disambig template at the start of this page. Given that entering "Whipping Boy" into the search will produce a disambiguation page anyway, and anyone who enters "Whipping Boy (Irish Band)" into the search is very unlikely to be searching for the children's book... done - the punk band now lives at Whipping Boy (American band), this page at Whipping Boy (Irish band), and all links amended accordingly (which was a pain in the ass :P) --Kaini 18:18, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
