Wheeling High School, or WHS, is a public four-year high school located in Wheeling, Illinois, a northwest suburb of Chicago, Illinois, in the United States. It is part of Township High School District 214, which also includes Buffalo Grove High School, Elk Grove High School, John Hersey High School, Prospect High School, and Rolling Meadows High School.

Wheeling High School first opened in 1964. Wheeling High School's mascot is Wille the Wildcat.

In 2005, Wheeling had an average composite ACT score of 21.0 and graduated 88.1% of its senior class. The average class size is 20.0. Wheeling has made Adequate Yearly Progress on the Prairie State Achievement Examination, a state test part of the No Child Left Behind Act.[1] The WHS Congressional Debate team has won the Illinois State Debate Championships four times in the last six years.

Wheeling competes in the Mid-Suburban League East Conference and Illinois High School Association. Also, Wheeling hosts the Hardwood Classic every year for basketball. High schools like Loyala Academy, where Michael Jordan's sons, Jeffery and Marcus, play, come there every year.
