Wheston, Whetstone from Old English hwet stan 'a whetstone', probably referring to places where stone suitable for whetstones was found - A Dictionary of English Place Names, A. D. Mills, pub. Oxford University Press 1993

I request that "Arsene Wenger" (Aresenal FC Manager) be inculded as well as Samatha Fox as a resident of Whetstone. He lives in Tottridge lane. + David Dein (vice-Chairman of Arsenal Footbal club) and chairman of G14.

They both live in Totteridge, not Whetstone! I don't know where Samatha Fox lives or lived.--Osidge 09:30, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
