"What R U Waiting 4" is a pop-soft rock song and the debut solo single from Australian singer-songwriter Tiffani Wood. Composed by Matthew Gerrard, Bridgit Benenate and Steve Brooker, the single marked a musical change for Wood who was mostly known for her pop-dance music with girl group Bardot. "What R U Waiting 4" is a feel-good, motivational song which Wood connected to instantly despite having no lyrical input. It inspired her to begin writing material of her own. The single debuted at #27 on the ARIA singles chart and was one of the most-played songs on Australian radio in March 2004. The two b-sides of the single showcased the skills Wood possessed both as an artist and songwriter. "The Mirror" speaks of growing up and the pressures encountered such as body image and self identity while "U&I" is an uplifting, romantic love song about the trials and tribulations of a relationship. "What R U Waiting 4" was also recorded by Lindsay Lohan for the Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen soundtrack. "What R U Waiting 4" was also covered on the Bratz: Rock Angelz CD with a new title of "Change the World."

The music video for "What R U Waiting 4" sees Wood helping out different people in a variety of situations such as assisting a painter and songwriter to find artistic inspiration, rescuing a mother of two children who is about to drop the groceries while walking in the door and returning a lost dog to its owner. The video, like the song, is about doing your bit to make the world a better place. It is set in an old house with scenes both inside and outside the house.
