WFXJ (AM)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

WFXJ (930 the Fox) is a Jacksonville, Florida sports-talk radio station. Local programming includes Lamm at Large and the Pete Prisco Show. WFXJ also is the home of the Jacksonville Suns, the AA minor league affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers and the "flagship home of the Florida Gators".

WFXJ once had competition from WBWL, "600 The Ball," which is the sister station to Jacksonville Jaguars flagship WOKV. But in 2004, WBWL ended its sports format and switched to Radio Disney, leaving WFXJ alone with this format in this market. However, another competitor, WZNZ, has since emerged with ESPN Radio programs.
